Umami Ume is a conceptual beverage-packaging project inspired by the origins of ume (Japanese plum) wine, locally known as “umeshu”. The scheme of the project was to create a conceptual brand that would be applicable to labeling and packaging designs for beverage products. The brand focuses on the origins of umeshu by incorporating the influential family to the beverage, Tokugawa Clan.
